Dear All, here are the details for the Llangrannog Rowing Regatta on SUNDAY 22nd MAY 2011.
High tide 11.45 (4.3)
REGISTRATION: 8.30 till 9.30
RACE AND SAFETY BRIEFING: 10.00
FIRST RACE SCHEDULED FOR 10.30
RACE ORDER: LADIES, MEN, JUNIORS, MIXED.
ENTRY FEE: £4.00, JUNIORS £2.00
PLEASE CALL KEV BROWN ON 07982 750035, OR POB THOMAS ON 07950 568538 WITH INFORMATION ON WHETHER YOUR CLUB INTENDS TO RACE, THIS WILL HELP WITH CATERING AND SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS.
PARKING: There will be parking for trailers only on the Ship Inn car park. Cars can then be parked a short distance up the road, A car park attendant will be around to advise.
FOOD: Bacon roll, sausage rolls, burgers and hot beverages will be available from 8.30 onwards.
If your travelling from the north, turn off at Pentregat, and follow the road all the way down into Llangrannog. From the south, turn off just after the Brynhoffnant Pub, follow the road down to a crossroads, sign posted to the Urdd Centre, and signs for Route for caravans / lorries / coaches, follow this road for a couple of hundred yards, and turn down left just before entering Pontgarreg, and signed to the Urdd Centre. Turn left at top of hill / crossroad, and follow road down into Llangrannog. Just after the church, there is a sign for a free car park, this is where visiting cars should park, and where cars pulling trailers will park after dropping boats off at the Ship Inn.
